SIMV Launches the Ecoantibio Research Award – 2023 Edition

The Syndicate of the Veterinary Medicine and Diagnostics Industry (SIMV) announces the launch of the call for scientific publications, 2023 Edition, to compete for the special Ecoantibio research award.

As the leader of Action 3 of the second Ecoantibio plan, “Encouraging the use of vaccines to prevent the emergence of infectious diseases”, the SIMV aims to reward publications that meet the objective of this axis.

Call for publications until April 28, 2023

This Award recognizes a scientific publication from 2022:

This Award is intended to distinguish research work published by a student or researcher meeting the following criteria:

  • Works highlighting the positive impact of vaccination
  • Works highlighting the positive impact of other innovative therapeutic solutions (algae, peptides, probiotics, phages, etc.) in reducing the risk of antimicrobial resistance emergence and reducing the need for antibiotic prescription.

Only projects with potential for exploitation by the veterinary pharmaceutical industry are eligible.

Application submission procedures in 2023:
Publications from 2022 can be sent to the RFSA secretariat from now until April 28, 2023, at the following address: secretariat@rfsa.net

As a reminder, the publication honored with the 2022 Ecoantibio research award was:
