Launch of the France 2030 call for projects – PPR Antimicrobial Resistance “Understand, Innovate, Act” – Call for Projects
We are forwarding you information regarding the launch of the second call for projects for the PPR (Priority Research Program) on antimicrobial resistance.
Please note: Companies may be partners but will not receive funding.
This call for projects is led by the ANR, managed by Inserm, within the framework of the France 2030 Plan.
Objective of the CfP: To fund interdisciplinary projects combining an integrated One Health approach (human, animal, ecosystem health) and digital technologies to:
- Understand the mechanisms of emergence, selection, and transmission of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), particularly in underexplored ecosystems;
- Innovate via:
- The discovery of new therapeutic targets;
- Digital tools (including AI) to predict antimicrobial susceptibility from genomic data;
- Digital solutions to improve infection surveillance and the appropriate use of antimicrobials (prescription assistance, prevention).
It particularly targets multi/interdisciplinary approaches and encourages inclusion that can combine life sciences, human and veterinary medicine, social sciences and humanities, mathematics, physical and computer sciences, chemistry, or engineering sciences.
The submission of projects involving overseas territories and in synergy with national and international strategies is also encouraged.

Projects can last up to 4 years, must be based on a consortium, and the requested funding amounts range from €600k to €750k.
The application deadline is April 14, 2026, 11 AM. Beneficiaries of the grants are higher education and/or research institutions or groups of these institutions organized into large consortia.
Companies and other organizations may be partners but will not receive funding. The total amount dedicated to this CfP is €2M.
