“Grand challenges in vector-borne diseases” symposium
As part of the implementation of the Pasteur 2030 strategic plan, the leads of Scientific Priority 2, “Environmental transitions and health”, invite you on June 5, 2026, to the “Grand challenges in vector-borne diseases” symposium, in the Émile Duclaux lecture hall.
Introduced by Yasmine Belkaid, Director General of the Institut Pasteur, this international event will bring together numerous field and laboratory experts to consider practical and strategic approaches to vector control in a context of climate and environmental change.
This symposium will address two main themes: “Promoting field studies” and “The post-insecticide era?” It will also provide an opportunity to present the future Center for Research on Vector-Borne Diseases (CMTV) to participants, a project that combines scientific advances and specialized architecture.
